Heart-centre consciousness & meditation

One of the meditation pathways into Love and Light is through the heart centre, because in the heart centre is the Light of Divine Love. In the heart we can reach Divine consciousness, to some degree, and enter into the experience of Divine Love. Thus, in the heart we can enter into the Divine Radiance, which can then be radiated outward into all of humanity and the world.

The value of meditating in the heart is that it's a way to connect with and experience God. It's a way to experience Love and the Light of love. God lives in us, in the heart-centre, though for most people God is hidden in the heart and not yet realized as being already here. So, one can find God in the heart, if one can take some time to sincerely and patiently meditate in the heart.

In the heart we find the qualities of God, the qualities of love and knowingness, along with inclusiveness and compassion. Through meditation we can realize these qualities in the heart and make them conscious in our life, while also radiating these qualities into the world.

The heart centre is also our connection with our own true self and our own true will. The will of the heart and the will of the soul are usually the same. This is because the soul comes through the heart, our soul of spiritual love, spiritual light and spiritual will. In the heart is the beauty of our soul.

The meditation is so simple, to meditate in the heart centre. Being in the heart centre is being here and at home. The feeling is of being truly home, and it feels to be a place of the real. One can relax in the heart, in this homeland, in this place of love. In the heart there is none other than sincere experience. The heart is the place I can make communication with great beings and with God, and where it can be real. Also, it's a place of inclusion, embrace, and relationship. The heart is peace. The heart is beauty. The heart is love. In the heart centre is the Hearth of God. It's a good place to be in meditation.

When in the heart centre there is a relaxed feeling of peace, joy and expansiveness. In the heart is communication with our soul, with life, and with the Hierarchy of the Heart Centre of the planet. It's all right here in the heart, this portal to Light, Love, and Beauty.

Be in the heart centre. In the heart centre is freedom. It is also the centre from which self-knowingness and self-transformation occur. Also, when we are in the heart centre, the world transforms. We become knowers of what is true. We become healing emissaries of knowing love.

Also in the heart is the deep mind, the intelligence of heart, the knowingness of heart, the truth which only the heart knows best. Spiritual intuition and knowingness come from the heart. True reason and purpose come from the heart. And of course compassion and forgiveness come from the heart. Love's embrace comes from the heart. Everything true and beautiful comes from the heart.

One way into heart-consciousness is to purposefully place one's mind in the heart. Bring your mind into your heart, and just be conscious in the heart. Be mindful in the heart. Be aware in the heart. Breathe your consciousness into your heart. Bring your consciousness into your heart through the breath. Will to bring mind in the heart, then relax in the heart centre.

At first, being in this heart consciousness requires a decision, perseverance, and practice, because one has to make a shift from the usual patterns of personality and ego. But once inside the heart consciousness, in the experience, it feels like home, one’s natural place of being. This is our home of truth, of who we are. This is also our abode of love and the deepest motivator of our will.

Heart consciousness is an openness of the heart, which includes everyone as well as oneself. Being in heart consciousness means consciously being in the heart while outwardly coming from the heart.

Become more and more aware in the heart, and more aware of the universal spaciousness of the heart. Allow the spaciousness of the heart to open up more and more, through greater and greater inclusion of everyone and all of the universe. Inclusion expands heart-consciousness. In the heart, in this experience, there is an interrelatedness of other hearts and a sense of oneness with others.

The heart experience is a sharing, a shared experience of being. We are sharing the same beingness. So there is no separativeness between us. The whole space we are in is contiguous and in unity. There is no distance. There is no me sending you this, or you sending me that. Rather, there is an instantaneous sharing of being and heart. We are with each other. I am with you, and you are with me. We are in the same heart space of beingness, where there is no separation or distance. We are sharing in the same heart and consciousness, simultaneously, at the same time.

From in the heart, our sense of space and other people is different. We have a heartful inclusiveness of others, in a common space of being, as the space and others around us are no longer separate from us. Heart consciousness is inclusive, rather than separative. This means that others around us, in the space around us, are included in our heart consciousness. They are included in a very beingness. This then translates into empathy and compassion. Yet even deeper in the experience is the unity of Being, whereby all people and all life are experienced as having the same Being and in the same Heart. This is both my heart and God’s Heart.

So this isn't just your own heart centre, but rather this is the greater heart space of all other conscious heart beings, and this within the Universal Heart space, within the Heart of God. This is our shared heart. In essence there is really just One Heart Centre. So when I meet someone, from my heart centre, I am with their heart centre as well. We meet in our shared heart. The same is true with God. We meet with God in the heart, in our shared heart, our shared space of being.

From consciousness in the heart comes soul consciousness, which then leads to group consciousness (one's soul-group), which then leads to Hierarchy consciousness and one's connection with God. In the heart of the heart centre is Love, along with a spiritual rainbow of love qualities, coming from one's soul, from one's soul-group ashram, from the Hierarchy, and ultimately from the One Being in which we all are.

In this as well is interconnection, interrelationship and intercommunication. In the heart centre one can relate with and communicate with other souls, world-servers, and occasionally with teachers and greater souls of the Spiritual Hierarchy. The heart centre, when radiatory and magnetic, relates truth-seekers to each other and to all the world. In meditation, from the heart centre, a conscious inner-communicative relationship can develop between meditator and other meditators, and also with the Spiritual Hierarchy.

Spiritual realization, which really means the same as God experience, is not so much of a mental experience as it is a heart experience. This divine experience is within the medium of consciousness, but this consciousness is really in the heart. The heart opens its knowing consciousness. And at each stage of opening there is a greater and greater expansiveness of inner experience. Boundaries dissolve, veils drop, and a great unlimited inner space opens up. The experience is like being the unlimited conscious universe itself. There are no boundaries and the space is endless. As well, in this space there is deep peace, the deep peace of Just Being. And in this space there is only heart, only One Heart, which is the very Being of God. Everything is included in this Universal Heart Space. Even the little ego-self, and even the personal thoughts and feelings, all of which will eventually re-emerge yet to some degree transformed; this too is included in this great Heart Space of Being.

In spiritual realization, all of life including oneself, is seen as immersed in the One Ocean of Being, the One Heart, the One Love. Nothing is really outside of this Ocean; for the medium of all reality is this Ocean. We are all in God. We are all in Love. Yet until this is realized, or better yet experienced, the thinking mind will live in an illusion of separation and un-connectiveness. Then, since action follows thought and belief, our relations with each other and the world become mixed up and often messed up. But let us not dwell on such negative matters. Instead, let us go deep into the Ocean and dissolve all ego-ness into this infinite expanse of Being. Abandon all worry, all attachment, and all self-identification; and let go completely into this Great Ocean of Being, the Ocean of Love.

The way of the heart

The heart is our home and the place for us to return. This is what Jesus was trying to tell us – that love is essential, home is in the heart, and God is in the heart. The whole world will be transformed when more and more people come to live in the heart centre and express themselves from the heart. We don't even need sacred books, nor have to debate their perfections, if only people realized and came from their real heart, without being derailed by indoctrinations, cultural patterns, or fears. The Way is love, peace, non-harm, and harmony. The Way is to love; not fight, slander, nor degrade. The Way is to help, care, and cooperate, with fairness and balance.

The heart's qualities are unconditional love, acceptance, forgiveness, and inclusiveness. This also includes one's own self. The heart can accept and love oneself, for how ever one is, including one's faults and mistakes. The heart can see a unique kind of beauty in things and in people, rather than judging by a fixed value-standard. Heart-consciousness accepts all, but only creates good. We can find fault with someone for their poor choices or for their self-centered actions, but all they can do is to make better next time, so we might as well concentrate on giving them the ideas and encouragement to make it better next time.

Appreciate the goodness and beauty of everyone. Love and appreciation are the opposite and the antidote of being judgmental. Judgment has a usefulness in life, in the sense of having discernment and knowing what could be better (or a next step). But if we get stuck into a judgmental mode, either about others or about our own self, then we are just creating more problems - since judgment will never heal anyone, nor will judgment bring one into the next better step. Only love heals. Only love solves things and makes them better. At the same time, we should not become naive about what is wrong or not working. So we do need to have discernment between what is functional and dysfunctional, or between what is healing/smart vs. harmful/stupid.

Look for at least some good qualities in everyone and everything. This is not to mean that everyone and everything is all good, but since there is some good everywhere and in everyone, it follows that we could see the good rather than the bad.

There may be some negative stuff. There probably is. It’s easy to find faults. It’s also easy to find something to complain about. But maybe we decide to experience life in a different way. Go ahead and acknowledge the bad, the negative, the ugly, the faults. But then move on from this fault-finding. Move on to the positive, to the good. Find something positive and good to focus on, and also to nurture. Appreciate the good, the love, the subtle beauty of anyone or any place. And instead of putting focus and discussion on what is wrong about someone else, acknowledge whatever we can find that is good, then give them credit and positive feedback for this.

Humanity in general is still predominantly in animal consciousness, which corresponds to the third centre from the bottom, related to self-assertiveness and mastery in the local environment. The three lower centres are important, of course, but there are other steps.

The real next evolutionary step for human beings is living in and from the heart centre. This is no small step. It is very profound step. Even for those embarked on a spiritual path, or for those in a religious path, few ever seem to arrive to live in the heart centre.

Perhaps there are two reasons for this. One is that the ego tendency is so great, and is so supported by world culture, that it is too hard to find the real heart centre and maintain consciousness there. Two is that there is so many other “distractions” in most religions and spiritual teachings – so many ideas or so many rules – that the most important Idea gets lost, which is that the heart is home and the place to return. This is what Jesus was trying to tell us – simply that love is essential and home is in the heart. The whole world will be transformed when more and more people come to live in the heart centre and express themselves from the heart.
